It is always helpful if you have some clarity over your coaching objectives, but don’t be too concerned if you are not clear about exactly what you want to achieve initially because that is often the subject matter of the first sessions.
Here is what our initial sessions could look like:
• After some admin guidelines, our first couple of sessions will focus mainly on your current situation while we endeavor to discover the areas of focus that you want to explore.
• By the third session, we should be gaining clarity on what you want to achieve, what success looks like, and how we will get there. This does not mean we can’t take side trips, but it’s a good idea to create a plan of action to give us a framework for the initial coaching period.
